Pinna Simone
Short biography
I hold a Master Degree in Philosophy (magna cum laude) from the University of Cagliari (Italy)
with a dissertation on Daniel Dennett’s theory of consciousness.
I finished my PhD in Philosophy of Science in May 2014.
Since 2012/13 AY I have been Teaching Assistant in the Philosophy of Mind and Artificial Intelligence Course,
Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, Philosophy, University of Cagliari.
I’m currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cagliary.
My main research field is philosophy of mind, with a special interest in the embodied/extended approach and the dynamical approach to cognition. Also, I am interested in cognitive psychology, especially in the fields of numerical skills development and computational models of arithmetical cognition.
I am a member of the Italian Society of Logic and Philosophy of Science (SILFS), the Italian Association of Cognitive Science (AISC) and the Italian Association of Systemics (AIRS).
