I joined with UNICA in 2014. I found it’s a good place to work specially for research on medicinal plants. I was fascinated towards research in Medicinal plants as I started my career in Pharmacy. When I was looking for a PhD position after completion of my masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences I noticed a group working on natural medicines here and their work seem interested to me. Willing to work in research on Phytomedicines I joined UNICA.
Now, I am working on Indian and Sardinian medicinal plants.
Isolation, Phytochemical screening and evaluation by biological assay are the major part of research. My work is focused on compounds acting against HIV- enzymes. We aimed to isolate molecules which may acts as anti-HIV agents.
