SOCIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCE: I learned to teach in a difficult urban environment characterized by the presence of many social problems. As a teacher I was able to form strong relationships with students that came from many different countries. For the past year I shared an apartment with Italians in Florence as well as guests from different countries. I know how to work together to accomplish objectives. For many years I played team sports like soccer and baseball. I have also worked on a volunteer basis at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank and as a gardener for the Angeli del Bello organization in Florence, Italy.
ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES: Throughout my employment at Bolger & O’Hearn Inc. I performed the duties of shipping and receiving of sample orders of pigments and dyes. I took and organized samples of every batch of pigment produced in the warehouse. I also organized all of the quality control test results in a filing system. As a student at Middlebury College I helped to organize an academic convention in Florence, Italy “Populism: a historiographic category?” in May 2013. During this period I kept organized notes from political gatherings and sources for my master’s thesis.
