Yolanda Cano Galán earned the Ph. D. in Employment, Labor and Social Security Law, at Universidad Complutense Madrid (Spain) after developing researches at Harvard Law School, (Massachussets, USA), and Marschall Whyte School of Law, College of William and Mary, (Virginia, USA), where she earned the L.L.M. She is professor of law at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where she teaches Employment Law, Labor Law and Social Security Law, and is Judge Assistant at the Supreme Court of Spain.
Due to her interest in Human Rights, she has conducted researches and has been Visiting Scholar at University of British Columbia (Vancouver-Canada). She has published many papers on topics related to employment discrimination from a comparative perspective and is co-author of the book about Social Jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights
