The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)<\/strong><\/span> is the largest funding organisation<\/strong> in the world which supports the international exchange of students, researchers and academic staff.<\/p>\n

Every year DAAD offers grants and scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a> for all disciplines to Italian students, researchers and academics, and foreign researchers residing in Italy or who hold Italian degrees.<\/p>\n

DAAD grants and scholarships have different duration from 3-4 weeks to 1 year according to programmes chosen, and they are awarded for study, short-stay or 1-year research periods, summer courses, German language courses.<\/p>\n

General requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Candidates should be Undergraduates<\/strong> (except first-year students), PhD students, Post-Doc, Academic Staff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Graduate students should have a Master’s degree < 6 years, a PhD degree < 4 years.<\/p>\n

Knowledge of German language is not compulsory as many courses are taught in English. Candidates must certificate their knowledge of English language (TOEFL, IELTS, DAAD Language Certificate).<\/p>\n

Candidates must choose the German institution they consider more suitable for their interests.<\/p>\n
