Roberta Dess\u00ec is currently working in the European Parliament in Brussels, as a Schuman trainee in the Secretariat of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO).<\/span><\/p>\n

She graduated in Law summa cum laude from the University of Cagliari, Italy, in 2011 with a thesis in European Constitutional Law on: \u2018Parliaments and European democracy\u2019. During the last year of her Master\u2019s degree she spent a semester in the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also holds a LL.M in \u2018Parliaments and Public Policies\u2019 from the School of Government of the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, Italy. She graduated with honors in 2012<\/span>, with a final dissertation in European Parliamentary Law, titled: ‘The role of National Parliaments in the light of<\/span> the new European Economic Governance: the cases of Denmark and Ireland’.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2013 she has been<\/span> selected for the \u2018Advanced Graduate Seminars on Parliamentary Studies and Researches Silvano Tosi’, a post-graduate School of the University of Florence directly funded by the Italian Chamber of Deputies and the Italian Senate of the Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since March 2012 she is registered in the Special Register of practicing lawyers of the BAR Association in Cagliari, Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2011 she has worked as a teaching assistant with Professor Gianmario Demuro (Professor of Constitutional Law at the School of Law of the University of Cagliari) in Constitutional Law and in European Governance and Multi-level Protection of Rights, and as a tutor during the Summer School \u201cEurope, Regions and Human Rights 2012\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n
