Agata Serran\u00f2, Italian, got her degree magna cum laude in Political Science in 2004 from the University of Calabria (Italy). In 2006 she obtained the Italian \u201cNicola Calipari\u201d prize and carried out research on international terrorism at the University of Ja\u00e9n (Spain).In 2009 this research was published by Giuffr\u00e9 under the title: \u201cRational weapons against contemporary terrorism\u201d. The book was a 2010 finalist for the international \u201cG. Falcone P. Borsellino\u201d scientific prize, awarded by the Carlo Cattaneo University of Varese (Italy).
