He has published widely and presented a number of papers in this field. At Honours level, he teaches both European Legal History and the History of Scots Law.<\/p>\n<p>Leading on from\u00a0his research interests, Dr Finlay\u00a0has served as Honorary Publication Secretary to the Scottish History Society, on the Council of the Stair Society and for five years I was Secretary and Treasurer of the Scottish Legal History Group.
