Gianluca Atzori

Gianluca Atzori, in his work as environmental lawyer, has gained significant experience on substantial environmental and administrative law issues, assisting leading chemical, oil and energy companies also with reference to the related administrative and criminal litigation.

He also provided assistance with reference to human rights compliance and corporate social responsibility issues.

Gianluca has also been involved in energy projects concerning renewable energy sources.

After graduating in Law maxima cum laude from the University of Cagliari in 2008 with a thesis in Constitutional Law, he graduated with honors in an LL.M program in International Human Rights from the School of Law at Northwestern University of Chicago in 2009, where he edited a paper on Corporate Human Rights Compliance. During his academic career he has also gained experience at Cambridge, UK.

In 2012 he has been assistant professor at John Marshall Law School.

During the “Europe, Regions and Human Rights Summer School 2012”, Gianluca has hold a seminar concerning environmental and human rights compliance of multinational corporations.

He is a member of the Italian Bar.
