Agata Serranò, Italian, got her degree magna cum laude in Political Science in 2004 from the University of Calabria (Italy). In 2006 she obtained the Italian “Nicola Calipari” prize and carried out research on international terrorism at the University of Jaén (Spain).In 2009 this research was published by Giuffré under the title: “Rational weapons against contemporary terrorism”. The book was a 2010 finalist for the international “G. Falcone P. Borsellino” scientific prize, awarded by the Carlo Cattaneo University of Varese (Italy).
