Ilenia Ruggiu (PhD Constitutional and European Law, University of Palermo), is associate professor at the Department of Jurisprudence, School of Law, University of Cagliari where she teaches Constitutional law. Her interests of research are on multiculturalism  with special regard to legal reasoning in solving cultural conflicts, minorities rights, cultural rights, identity and theory of recognition; federalism, with special regard to institutions of representation of the territories in the central State (Second Regional Chamber and State-Regions Conferences). She has been visiting scholar in the following Universities: Georgetown University, Washington DC, US; Edinburgh University, UK; University of Victoria, BC, Canada; University of Southern California, LA, US.
