Roberto Cherchi (PhD in Constitutional and European Law at the University of Palermo-Italy) is associate professor at the Department of Jurisprudence, Faculty of Economics, University of Cagliari where he teaches Public law. His interests of research are on government and political parties, with special regard to Italy, and also in a comparative perspective; and on immigration law, both from a national and international perspective. Roberto Cherchi has been visiting scholar in the following Universities: University College of London, University of Manchester, University of Nottingham, University of Glasgow, University of Barcelona (Ube), University of Buenos Aires.
