Short Biography

Luca Didaci is Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Cagliari, Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He obtained the MS degree in Electronic Engineering in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering in 2005. Since 2002 he joined the research group on Pattern Recognition and Applications of the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. From 2006 he is also member of ALOPHIS research group.

His research interests are in the fields of pattern recognition and applications. In particular, they rely on semi-supervised multiple classifier systems and semi-supervised biometric systems.  He has published, as co-author, two book chapters and 19 papers in scientific journals and national and international conference proceedings.

Luca Didaci regularly acts as a reviewer for the vast majority of the international journals on pattern recognition and applications. He is a member of the IAPR (International Association for Pattern Recognition) and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).
