Main applications:

♦ Growth and titration of biosafety level 2 viruses (BL2): Flaviviruses (YFV, BVDV), Picornaviruses (Entero, Rhino, Hepato, Aphto); Coronaviruses (HCoV); Orthomyxovirus (Influenza); Paramyxoviruses (RSV, Measles); Rhabdoviruses (VSV); Herpesviruses (HSV, HCMV); Iridoviruses (ASFV); Poxviruses (VV), Reoviruses (Blue Tongue).

♦ Evaluation of cytotoxicity (CC₅₀) and of antiviral activity (EC₅₀) of natural and synthesis compounds: cytopathogenic assays (CP), plaque reduction (PR), yield reduction (YR).

♦ Selection of drug-resistance mutants and studies of cross-resistance.
