Giovanni Coinu (Ph.D. constitutional law, Pisa, Italy) is assistant professor of law at the University of Cagliari where he teaches public and EU law. He serves in the Board of Trustees of the University of Cagliari and in the Law School Committee for international affairs and European integration. In 2011 Professor Coinu has been awarded with a Fulbright research scholarship spent at John Marshal Law School (Chicago, USA) where he lectured EU Law and EU Business Regulation. His researches focus on Italian law and regulation, regional law and education policies. Professor Coinu has been visiting scholar at John Marshall Law School (Chicago, US), Harvard Law School (Cambridge, US) and William S. Boyd School of Law (Las Vegas, US) and his articles have appeared in national and international law journals.
