Prof. Gianmario Demuro – Coordinator of the Summer School

Gianmario Demuro (Ph. D. in Public law, Florence, Italy) is professor of law at the University of Cagliari where he teaches constitutional, public, regional and EU law. Professor Demuro is the Director of the LLM on EU Multilevel Governance. He served as the Associate Dean for international affairs and European integration. Professor Demuro is also adjunct faculty at John Marshal Law School (Chicago, USA) where he teaches EU Regulation and Governance. His researches focus on Italian law and regulation, human rights and multilevel constitutionalism. In 2010, Professor Demuro co-edited a book on Human Rights in Europe, Commentary on the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. Professor Demuro has lectured in numerous countries throughout the world and his articles have appeared in international law journals.
