Dr Hilde Farthofer

Hilde Farthofer (PhD in Criminal Law and Comparative Criminal Law, University of Salzburg/Austria) is research associate at the department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and International Criminal Law, University of Marburg/Germany. Her interests of research are on international criminal law and international criminal procedure, with special regard to the impact of criminal procedure on human rights in particular on the rights of the accused and the witnesses. In 2007, she granted an award of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Italy for the research on her PhD on participation in organized criminal groups.
